New to Game-Question on max Characters
I just bought this game for my son and I'm trying to help him prepare properly before he starts playing. I'm not sure I fully comprehend the character limit and was wondering if someone with experience could help clarify the issue for me. Is the four character maximum a total limit, in that you can add and delete to your heart's content so long as you don't exceed the four character limit, or are you limited to a total of four creations period?
Thanks in advance! Mark |

You have four character slots, which you can use to create characters. You can delete these guys to your hearts content. If you want more than four slots there are two ways to go about this: buy another campaign (get the campaign and two character slots) or buy individual character slots from the online store. There is no limit to the number of times you can create or delete a character (that I know of).

You can create and delete them as you like with no time period limit.
The ammount of slots you have shows how many characters you can have as a Maximum. Feel free to use the empty slots (or delete a char) how many times you like. Last edited by Nadasee; Feb 16, 2008 at 03:25 PM // 15:25.. |

Welcome to Guild Wars first of!
And yes, you can create and delete characters within your 4 slots until you're blue in the face. But 4 is not the max, the max for character slots is 32 i believe, but each slot is purchased for $9.99 on the in-game store. Although, with each campaign you add you are granted an additional two character slots. Hope that clarifies some stuff for you. |

About the Level limit... It works differently in GW then in other mmorpgs. It serves olny the purpose of keeping track of your progress until your maxmimum level (wich is 20). In Guild Wars, the way you use your skills and build your skill bar and attributes determines your power.
Level doesnt do squat (Well, actually it does, each level makes you gain more attribute points and more health). So if your used to play games like World of Warcrap (I mean Warcraft*), you should probably read the manual and rethink your way to play. Basically, GW is all about Skill instead of Time invested. EDIT: Sorry i was sure he asked about that... well I guess it'll help him anyway. Last edited by Fangclaw; Feb 18, 2008 at 09:14 PM // 21:14.. |
